Irving client seeks to add an Organizational Development Consultant  with a focus on Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. 
As a member of the HR Programs team, the Organizational Development Consultant will recommend and build programs and practices that increase diversity, inclusion and engagement throughout the organization.

Responsibilities;
  • Define, source, or build organizational wide programs that increase underrepresented populations and promote an environment of engagement and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to develop and implement diversity education and awareness programs with measureable outcomes.
  • Ensure existing or new programs are aligned to support key business objectives.
  • Develop and/or maintain relationships with external organizations that increase representation in the STEM fields, provide opportunities to economically disadvantaged students, or increase cultural awareness within the industry.
  • Partner with HRBP’s, Recruiting, Learning and Development, Business Leadership and other internal stakeholders to embed D&I best practices into the talent lifecycle.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications on internal and external messaging related to Diversity & Inclusion or culture initiatives.
  • Support the measurement/effectiveness of engagement and D&I initiatives across the business. Gather and analyze data to produce reports and presentations that provide progress against metrics. Develop and implement action plans to address gaps.
  • Conceptualize and plan events related to the advancement of an engaged and inclusive culture.  This will require creating or collaborating on content development or vendor identification and partnership.
  • Partners with HR and business leaders to communicate, coach, and obtain organizational alignment on Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement initiatives.
  • Speak or represent the company at external D&I or Community Engagement events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s Degree in HR or Organizational Behavior is highly desirable.
  • 7 years of relevant experience is required, with a minimum of 3 years in Organizational Development, Talent Management or Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Successful project execution and/or program management experience is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Intermediate data analytics skills are required, advanced analytics experience is preferred.  
  • Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships at all levels in the organization.
  • Experience presenting to large and small groups, including senior leadership is required.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
