Our client, a healthcare company located near Plano, TX, is seeking a Concur Expense Reporting Specialist to join their team!  This is a Contract position, but there is perm potential.

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Under direct supervision perform several routine accounting duties. Responsible for accurately processing/ auditing expense reports according to the company travel policy. Process company monthly event/meeting card statements, including review and coding. Create and upload General Ledger entries and ensure accurate and timely closing of month-end in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Send out various emails to remind company employees of past due or old charges with company credit card.
  • Send out copies of company event/meeting card statements on a monthly basis.
  • Send monthly airfare statement (BTA) for process and payment.
  • Match checks to company event/meeting card statement back up.
  • Send out emails to note who has been added to the Concur system and who was inactivated on a weekly basis.
  • Update Concur traveler profiles with auto allowance information
  • Create, distribute, and update month end reconciliations for pre-paid’s, A/P, & Concur on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and upload the month end journal entries for the Concur system.
  • Review/audit submitted expense reports for accuracy and adherence to the company travel policy.
  • Reconcile employee company credit card accounts as needed.
  • Respond and resolve all communications via phone or email about problems the traveler may have.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Concur system issues.
  • Regular attendance required.
 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Must have experience using Concur.
  • Understanding of chart of accounts.
  • General bookkeeping knowledge is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have good time management skills.
  • College degree a plus, not required.
 
NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred):
  • Experience with Oracle a plus.
  • General bookkeeping knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to interface well with all levels within the organization.
