The Financial Advisor / Analyst prepares financial statements as well as performs variance analyses on monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget.  Consults and advises senior management on financial and operational issues impacting the strategic financial plans of the organization.

• Coordinates, analyzes, investigates, and advises senior management on financial variance reports for department / division / institution
• Prepares, manages, and analyzes financial information related to the month-end close cycle
• Creates and educates staff on advanced reports for internal financial analysis
• Performs and communicates moderate to complex analysis for external users of financial information
• Develops multiple system computer-based programs for use in financial and operational reporting

Ideal candidate will have: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related area
• 5-7 years of previous accounting / financial experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Research and/or healthcare background is helpful
