What you will get to do:
  • Help oversee and act as key contributor to the monthly and quarterly close process
  • Involved in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for quarterly and annual external reporting including SEC 10K and 10Q filings
  • Provides internal and external audit support for periodic financial statement and SOX audits
  • Fosters proactive working relationships with cross-functional departments (Legal, Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, etc.) to ensure timely receipt of required information
  • Assists in researching technical accounting issues including memos, the upcoming ESG standards, and be involved with the ASC 606 and 842 accounting
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Lead and assist in ad hoc projects designed to improve processes within the accounting division while also seeking to create buy-in and build consensus among stakeholders
Skills and Education:
  • Bachelor’s in accounting or related field
  • CPA
  • 5-8+ years of public accounting or hands-on accounting
  • Experience with accounting and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, including the preparation of financial statements and footnotes 
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Intermediate/Advanced excel skills
  • Mature & Self motivated
  • SAP S4 Hana knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work & meet deadlines without being micromanaged
