Responsibilities
Manages the preparation of periodic financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Oversees, reviews, and reconciles monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
Prepares monthly variance analysis and provides trends to ensure accuracy of financials
Provides leadership and direction to the accounting staff engaged in challenging financial, clerical, and technical work involved in maintaining the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Inventory sub-ledgers, and Taxes.
Liaison with FP&A, shared services, revenue recognition, supply chain teams, and tax.
Oversees and provides audit support - consolidated, and stat audits.
Leads the technical research and reporting function.
Leads the ASC 842 conversion process.
Leads the worldwide consolidated intercompany elimination and transfer pricing processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years’ experience leading corporate accounting teams.
CPA required.
Experience with foreign entity accounting and foreign currency translation is highly preferred.
Strong leader with experience building cohesive teams and who can handle changing priorities and processes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience optimizing and streamlining processes/reporting/etc. and managing associated change. Experience with major systems implementation (Oracle Fusion preferred).
Experience with Oracle FCCS and Hyperion is a plus.
Experience with mid-size private companies ($150M – $500M).
